The ex-United and Selecao winger shared a couple of photos on social media of himself catching up with his former boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, over breakfast in Portugal. The meet-up happened 10 days after the 38-year-old announced his retirement from professional football.

On his X handled, Nani shared the photographs and wrote in the caption: "Delicious breakfast – this time in Portugal – with the great and special company of Sir Alex Ferguson. Amazing time, great memories. See you again soon, Boss."
United reposted the player's X post and wrote: "Things you love to see."

Nani joined the Red Devils in 2007, just two years after making his senior debut for Sporting CP. He went on to represent the Premier League giants for eight years where he won several major titles including four Premier Leagues and one Champions League trophy under the tutelage of Ferguson.
