The Manchester City star failed to keep a single shot on target and lost possession eight times as the Norwegians suffered a humiliating defeat. Haaland had only 59 per cent accuracy while passing and managed to provide just one key pass in the match. He took to social media to apologise for the performance, saying Norway would aim for six points in the November international break.

Only a couple of days back, the striker entered the history books as his brace in Norway's 3-0 win over Slovenia helped him become the highest goal-scorer in the country's history. He currently has 34 strikes to his name in just 37 international appearances.
